Offset
printing process is the preferred printing technique
used by Banner Plasticard, Inc. in printing high-volume
card requirements, due to advantages in quality and
efficiency. This widely used printing technique
transferred the inked image from a plate to a rubber
blanket, then to the printing surface of the material.
When used in combination with the
lithographic
process, which is based on the repulsion of oil and
water, the offset technique employs a flat (Plano
graphic) image carrier on which the image to be printed
obtains ink from ink rollers, while the non-printing
area attracts a water-based film (called "fountain
solution"), keeping the non-printing areas ink-free.
To
produce the best printing quality, Banner Plasticard,
Inc. uses Energy-curable (or UV) inks. We can print on
poly vinyl chloride (PVC) and coated 2 sides (C2S) paper
board including other paper board surface based on the
preference of our customer. |
