Banner Plasticard, Inc. was incorporated
in 1994 as the first 100% Filipino owned, pioneering venture in
card manufacturing. It is the leading card manufacturer in the
Philippines, supplying the telecommunications, banking and other
financial services, retail, manufacturing and service
industries. Its main products are Scratch cards and ATM cards
and its other products are Membership, Loyalty, Room Access,
Identification and Calendar cards. It manufactures both plastic
and paper-based cards.
The Company is equipped with the most
sophisticated and advanced card design, production and
personalization machineries and facilities, using leading edge
technology. Its manpower resources are amongst the most skilled
within the industry. It has earned, and values, the reputation
of a professional, reliable company known for the high quality
and security of its products and services.
In January 2004, its Quality Management
System (QMS) became certified to ISO 9001:2000 to both the UKAS
(United Kingdom Accreditation Standard) and BPS (Bureau of
Product Standard of the Philippines) by the Society Generale de
Surveillance (SGS) Philippines, Inc., making it the first
Filipino card manufacturer to join the ranks of world class
Quality Management firms. In May 2004, Banner commenced export
of its products to Asian countries.
In the same year, Banner became a
recipient of the Social Standards Exchange of Experience in
Southeast Asia and Practical Learning (SEAL) awarded by the
International Weiterbildung und Entwicklung gGmbH (Inwent gGmbH)
of Germany.
In February 2007, Banner successfully
renewed its ISO 9001:2000 certification to both the UKAS and PAB
(Philippine Accreditation Bureau) by the SGS Philippines, Inc.
This time, Banner extended its certification to their second
plant located at 257 C. Raymundo Ave. Maybunga 1607 Pasig City,
Philippines.
The Company has acquired the professional
services of reputable and audit firms for the improvement of its
existing Security System and for the regular audit of its
processes. Banner will continue to take lead in offering
innovative card products and services. |
